How Tatallo works

You search the type of stay you want, or the place you are going to, and you book directly with the host. The fee you pay is a single, visible amount — you see it before you confirm, and it does not change with the season or the device you are using.

When your booking is confirmed you also get access to the perks offered by local businesses near your stay: a discount, a gift, a tasting, a guided walk. They are part of the booking, not an upsell.

Hosts publish holiday homes, hotels, farm stays, glamping, boats, campsites and rooms. Our commission is deliberately low, so you can keep your rates honest instead of padding them to absorb a platform cut.

To join you need a seven-character Believer code. It keeps growth local and accountable: every host on Tatallo was introduced by someone who knows the area.

Restaurants, shops, guides, rentals and workshops can join with the same kind of Believer code and publish a perk for Tatallo guests. You get visibility with travellers who are staying a few streets away, at the moment they are deciding where to eat or what to do.

There is no per-click advertising bill. The value comes from the bookings happening around you.

Most platforms take a commission from the host and a service fee from the traveller, both of which grow with the price of the stay. That pushes rates up for everyone and quietly takes value out of the destination.

Tatallo charges one transparent fee, keeps it deliberately modest, and publishes the same terms to every host. A fixed share of it is donated to charity, and the rest pays for running the platform — not for outbidding everyone else on advertising.

A share of every booking goes to charity, automatically, from the first night booked. It is not rounded up at checkout and it is not optional for us.

Believers are our promoters. Each one hands out a seven-character code to the hosts and local businesses they trust, and follows them as they join. It is how the platform reaches a new town: through a person, not an ad campaign.
